The road network into the southeast end of the park off SE 37th Street handles passenger vehicle traffic fine but becomes congested when multiple large groups arrive simultaneously — and the sheltered picnic area parking fills quickly during the August county fair.
A charter bus or minibus rental drops your whole group at the shelter entrance, stores coolers and gear in the undercarriage bays, and picks everyone up when the event wraps — no multi-car coordination, no argument about who leaves first to beat the exit rush.
